Saturday, 3rd May, 2025

2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Good Chemistry, Ace Hotel, 47-53 Wentworth Ave

Join me for a fun Saturday afternoon mucking around with yarn in the comfort of the ever-so cool Ace Hotel as part of their

Slow Series.

We'll start from the beginning and learn foundational elements from hands-on skills through to choosing yarns, needles and the language of patterns.

You'll choose a project to create - a scarf or snood.

Included in your workshop ticket:

  • Super bulky 100% sheep's wool, dyed with certified OEKO-TEX non-toxic dyes from farms with Responsible Wool Standard certification

  • 15mm solid Indian maplewood needles

  • Take-home instructions and pattern

  • Digital instruction to finish (and troubleshoot) your very first project

  • Drinks and snacks (of course!), provided by the Ace Hotel

  • Personal tutorial

You'll leave with knowledge! New friends! Knitting project on your very own needles! Confidence to finish your project at home and embrace your new obsession. Yes, this is all for the taking!

[this is held in the cafe, not bar, so U18s are welcome]
